Position Overview

Obviously is looking for a knowledgeable, enthusiastic, organized, and hard-working sales executive to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for acquiring new Enterprise client accounts, cultivating existing high-touch clients, and working to ensure we consistently meet our goals and exceed client expectations. 

The essence of your role will be to forge new business partnerships and shepherd our high-quality leads all the way to close. This includes developing sophisticated and effective proposals, managing a robust pipeline, cultivating relationships, and effectively communicating the value of Obviously to strategic stakeholders in complex organizations. Your success in this role will require you to operate effectively as a stellar enterprise sales person and an extraordinary problem solver, project manager, and a team player.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead large, complex deals from start to finish
  • Shepherd qualified leads to close by selling strategically through a complex organization
  • Develop the arc of the sale and seamlessly lead client stakeholders along the way
  • Develop pricing, deal structure, proposal, and presentations to drive forward the sale
  • Negotiate terms and close
  • Collaborate with the Product, Tech, and Accounts Teams to continually improve the design of our solution
  • Develop and implement new sales plans to maximize revenue and tap into new verticals with enterprise account clients
  • Develop and establish new clients across verticals, with an emphasis on beauty, tech, and retail. 
  • Conduct outreach and specially tailored pitch presentations to prospective clients
  • Maintain strong relationships with our existing clients and partners
  • Maintain accurate sales records, figures, and reports in the sales database 
  • Conducts quarterly account reviews with clients and works closely with product and client services teams to meet client objectives.

Who we are looking for

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience, with a focus on outside sales.
  • A demonstrated track record of success in building and maintaining a relationship with high-tier decision-makers.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to negotiate contracts that both meet and exceed the needs and goals of our clients and position Obviously to run excellent campaigns
  • Constant innovation is a must. In this fast-paced industry, we need someone who can stay on top of a constantly changing landscape and yet also think creatively and innovatively to offer sales solutions to clients 
  • Self-motivated, should have the ability to think quickly off the cuff and to achieve and exceed targets
  • Experience in selling marketing/advertising solutions to a team of decision-makers.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce or other CRMs.
